Grubtech, a pioneer in the food and beverage technology space, recognized a critical gap in the industry's ability to leverage data effectively. As digital technologies continued to reshape the landscape, restaurants faced increasing challenges with information overload, time-consuming research, and outdated data. These obstacles hindered their ability to make informed decisions and stay competitive.

To bridge this gap, Grubtechs’ product and strategy team developed a comprehensive solution that empowers restaurants to harness the power of data. By connecting various online sales channels and back-end systems, GrubTech's platform provides a unified view of business operations, enabling restaurants to streamline processes, make data-driven decisions and stay competitive.

 



My contribution

I worked with the Product manager and BA functions to brain storm and conceptualise the idea of a real-time F&B data platform.

I conducted research and competitor analysis to understand user needs and pain points. I then built a design system for GrubTech and created user flow diagrams and high-fidelity prototypes.

I worked alongside the development team to manage the implementation of the solution.

The Challenge:
  • Information overload:  Restaurants are inundated with data from various sources, making it difficult to extract actionable insights.
  • Time-consuming research:  Manually tracking competitor activities and market trends is time-consuming and resource-intensive.
  • Lack of real-time data:  Traditional market research methods often provide outdated information, hindering timely decision-making.
